After doing some research about environmental issues in reading, writing poems in Spanish about ecological problems, doing posters about the Pope’s Encyclicals in Religion and learning about recycled clothes in French, our 9th graders decided something had to be done! That is why they organized a campaign to collect thousands and thousands of plastic bottles. In addition, they also prepared amazing games and activities to teach primary school girls about the importance of taking care of our planet.

This project turned out to be a total success! We are sure that the lessons learned through this interdisciplinary-intergenerational project won’t be forgotten.
