This February our second group of students is getting ready to begin their first semester in the Dual Diploma program. With the goal of accompanying them in their development and preparation, the Dual Diploma prepares students from the hand of competent teachers to help them acquire the highest levels of competency based on three goals: language immersion, technology immersion, and personal immersion.

The program is taught entirely in English but goes far beyond simply learning the language because students also think and work in English. This semester our girls will take part in lectures and they will communicate daily with native teachers, take part in live sessions with other students, and fend for themselves in English, there by increasing their confidence and skills.

Lisa Baber will be part of the Dual Diploma Program this year. Lisa was born and raised in Florida, where she still lives with her husband and two children. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Atlantic University.  She has experience working with students from the elementary level through the collegiate level.  She will be accompanying our girls from 9th grade in the Dual Diploma program this year and is very excited to be our girls’ teacher.
